Lily – Coming to Get You!

This is Lily and she’s coming to get you – don’t be scared though, she’s very lovely!

Once your little one is mobile, it can be challenging to keep them still in the studio – after all, once you’ve worked out you can get around under your own steam, then it is a lot more interesting than having to sit still and not get a good look at the world around you.  For that reason, I recommend that you come to your second Joey Club photo shoot when your baby is sitting steady unsupported but not yet crawling.  However, that’s only applicable in a perfect world and there’s always a good chance that your baby will crawl off with no notice at all or you can’t schedule a convenient time to visit within that non-moving window.

It’s not a problem to come for a photo shoot if your baby is crawling and most people do but it does mean that we need to reset them a fair bit and also use any manner of silly distraction tactics to keep them sitting in one place – oh yes, we will sing and dance and basically do anything to get this done.  You don’t need to worry or be embarrassed about that though cos I’ll be right alongside you doing it to (as long as I know the words). And anyway, sometimes we get adorable action shots like the one above so it’s all good!
