First birthday photos are the perfect way to celebrate a very special milestone and here’s little Chloe celebrating with a cake smash and tub splash photo shoot.
The tutu that her mum and dad had brought along with them was a little to large for their little lady so they used one of my gorgeous pettiskirts and little Chloe just looked beautiful in it. We started with some family portraits, then some of Chloe holding my first birthday props (signs designed for little hands to hold).
Then we went straight to business with the cake smash. It was a gorgeous cake made by her mum with lots of creamy butter icing which is perfect as it is so ‘smearable’ (not sure if that’s officially a word or not). Chloe wasn’t sure of it at first which isn’t uncommon but then soon got into her stride in giving it all a good squish and smash.
Then we cleaned up in my tin tub with my washing line / laundry accessories set and also included a couple of Chloe’s furry buddies brought in from home. Again, she wasn’t too sure in the beginning but mum and dad soon got her giggling. Great photos and a good clean up at that same time – I just love to multi-task!
