Family portraits are a very usual thing in the studio but Luke and Katie are quite unusual clients in that they have been coming to visit at the end of November every year since, well since ever pretty much. I think this is their eleventh year actually and it is always lovely to see them and how much they have grown and changed over the last twelve months.

Their mum and dad buy prints from their photo shoot to fill in their Christmas present shopping list (much nicer than fighting through the crowds on the high street!). Each year, family members get prints (of the same size) to update their frames with.  It’s a gift that they say is always looked forward to and received with excitement as they change the year’s photo to the newest version.  It’s a great way to keep all of the family in touch with Luke and Katie’s progress – especially for those folk who don’t get to see them as often as they would like.
