This sunny weather really brings out the best at my studio.  We moved here back in October 2013 after more than a decade in various other buildings and, although it’s a bit smaller, it’s absolutely my favourite place to be.

It’s set in the gardens of my home which is perfect for me as what seemed like an unending week’s training course in London demonstrated beyond all reasonable doubt, I hate commuting. The worst delay I get here is a squirrel crossing the path.  It also gives me plenty of time to test, play and try out new ideas as soon as I have them…

The studio is divided into two sections, but both offer huge amounts of flexibility in both lighting and backdrop options – she may be small but she is perfectly formed and brilliantly designed (by my husband Steve) to pack in everything you would want in a larger studio.

And in the sunshine that we’re having at the moment, it’s actually one of my favourite spots…
