With dog photography, I do tend to keep it quite simple and classic. That way, I think your dog’s looks and personality can really shine through.
Also, if I’m being totally honest, dogs are kind of clumsy, especially when they’re not entirely sure what we’re asking them to do and prop heavy set ups do tend to get a bit knocked over. It’s easier to keep it simple and just focus on capturing your pet at their absolute best. For this reason, I do tend to use my fine art canvas backdrops quite a lot, they offer a striking yet neutral backdrop to your pooch that just suits most dogs. We also work against a white backdrop and on my deep red chaise so you get some variety in your finished gallery.
