A maternity photo shoot is the perfect way to celebrate your pregnancy and capture a lasting reminder of your temporary shape while you’re waiting for your very exciting new arrival.

This couple visited my cosy and relaxed studio in Crawley Down, West Sussex, to capture some images of them together as well as some of the very excited mum to be.  They brought along a few outfits to be photographed in, including a traditional African dress outfit, something more formal and then also we used my white flowing maternity dress which looked just wonderful being blown across the studio by my wind machine!  Also it was quite a hot day, so it was pleasantly cooling which I’m sure a lot of pregnant ladies appreciate when the temperatures rise! She also dared to bare her bump in a little underwear section of the shoot at the end of the session, shot in the ultra flattering lighting on the dark side of the studio, all beautiful light and curves.  I just love how we packed so much variety into one photo shoot but it was still relaxed, fun and easy.

I recommend coming for your maternity shoot when you are between 32 – 36 weeks pregnant so you have plenty of bump to show but you’re not getting too uncomfortable (also in case your baby decides to make an early appearance).  My maternity shoots cost £95 and include your three favourite digital images (you’re also welcome to borrow any of my gorgeous maternity photo shoot dresses while you’re in the studio).  You select your pictures and order any more that you would like directly from your online gallery, there’s no sales or viewing session to attend.
