Cake smashes are a fun way to celebrate and commemorate the end of a crazy twelve months.  Basically, if you haven’t heard of the idea before, it’s pretty much as the name suggests.  We let a one year play with, explore, smush, squish, and on rare occasions eat the cake and capture all the fun as it unfolds.  Then it’s time for the tub splash part of the session where they get to splash around in warm bubbly water and have fun at the same time.  Also they will be getting clean for you to take them home again but we don’t need to tell them this part!

This little fellow was celebrating the big one in full on Mickey style as his mum had themed his outfit, cake and even brought along her own Mickey bunting (I actually do have some Mickey bunting as well in the studio which you’re welcome to borrow if the mouse is your thing!).  There’s lots of choices of backdrops, bunting, and accessory sets for you to select from and even a choice of two tubs – one rustic and vintage, and one miniature white claw foot.  So you can theme your session just as you’d like to with my supplies or you’re always welcome to bring along your own!

A cake smash / tub splash session includes your five favourite digital images selected from your online gallery a few days after your session. You’re welcome to order more if you would like to but there’s no sales session to attend.  The cost for the session including the five images is £95.  All you need to bring along is the cake, bubble bath and a towel plus a birthday boy or girl!

A cake smash and tub splash photo shoot is the perfect way to celebrate and commemorate that extra special first birthday.   We start with a clean shoot and mum, dad and siblings are welcome to get involved here as well for family pictures if you’d like to.  Then it’s time to get out the cake for some smashing fun!  After that, it’s time to fill your choice of tub with warm and bubbly water for more great pictures and a good old icing removal clean up.  Each session includes your three favourite digital images (chosen from your online gallery, there’s no sales session) and costs £95.
