Eliana came to visit to celebrate a big milestone for her (and her mum and dad of course) – her very first birthday! A celebration like that deserves something really special and so her mum booked her for a ‘Smash and Splash’ photo shoot.
We started with some ‘normal’ portraits of the gorgeous birthday girl and included some of my 1 year old props (you’re always welcome to bring along your own of course though – my clients have the best ideas!) and then we moved onto the cake smash. Her mum had made and iced a beautiful colourful cake that had lots of creamy butter icing for Eliana to play with, smear about and even occasionally eat some of it. Then it was time to clean up in my big bath tub – I have a selection of props to choose from to accompany this (including my favourite giant duck) but you are also welcome to bring your own things here as well.
All in all, a brilliantly fun session providing some great memories of a very special time for this lovely family.
