This is James as he reached the end of his Joey Club journey with me. And it has been an awfully fun journey. There have been teddies, owl hats and all sorts of other fun stuff – teamed with very few tears and lots of smiles!
We finished off in style with a first birthday photo shoot – a Smash and Splash session – and of course, it being James, there were lots of smiles as we posed with presents (his mum and dad brought them along and kindly allowed me to keep them as they worked so brilliantly in showcasing James’ new standing up skills), first birthday props, a fine cake to smash and a good old splash in the tub with a nautically themed set.
I will miss all of them – I’ve been lucky enough to know his mum and dad for a while as I was their wedding photographer and it’s been a pleasure keeping in touch with them over the last couple of years. Perhaps I will see them again if their family grows – fingers crossed!
