Sarah Fisher Photography is turning five years old today and it feels like quite a milestone.
Given that half of all small businesses don’t make it this far, I’m personally very proud of everything I’ve achieved with SFP. I’m not going to lie, it’s been a lot of work – endless hours in the studio, in the office, lying awake at night trying to come up with perfect ideas and fretting over props, outfits and everything else it’s possible to fret over.
Of course, I’d be nothing without all of my wonderful clients who have come to visit with bumps, new babies, second babies, families and pets. You’ve all kept me going on the rare occasions when things got tough, you’ve inspired me with your creativity, made me laugh in the studio more times than I can count and generally been a joy to share time with.
When I decided to celebrate with a portrait day in aid of the NSPCC, I never dreamed it would sell out so quickly so that’s another load of thanks that I owe you. I can’t think of a nicer bunch of folk to celebrate with! Messy Merlin generously donated some of their handmade wooden items for my event goody bags which are totally gorgeous and I really almost kept them for myself (but I didn’t!). This one in particular sums up my message for you…
