Newborn photography sessions are by nature quite long and boring for brothers and sisters to sit through but of course, you might well want older siblings to be involved in capturing images of your growing family.
So what I recommend is that they come along at the beginning of the session for a little while during which time we get all the pictures we want of them together and then a parent can take them off to do something altogether more interesting for an hour or so while we work on getting images of the newest family member on their own. That’s how we got the pictures above of the most beautiful sisters, then big sis went off to the park and to have some lunch while we carried on. Everyone wins!
