If you have a baby under 4 months old then you’ll already know that the time races by.  From the moment that you first hold them in your arms, it can seem that the clock speeds up and it’s easy to miss the milestones unless you make the time to capture them.

My baby photography club (known for short as the Joey Club) offers you photography through your baby’s first year and a souvenir triple aperture wall frame at the end of it for your favourite image from each session.  It’s an independent scheme unlike the MPA Cherubs ‘Watch me Grow’ package so we can be as flexible as we like over the style of photography that we use at each session – from clean and bright white backdrops, through all the colours through to vintage style sets – you can take one style or mix and match to suit your style, baby and tastes.

The Sessions

Your first session is when your baby is about four months old or whenever they are happy to hold their head up when seated and on their tummy.  The second session is ideal when your baby can sit up by themselves but they’re not yet mobile.  It’s not essential that they aren’t crawling at this point but we do have a greater choice of props and also we do a lot less ‘baby chasing’ if they stay roughly where you put them.  The final session is to celebrate their first birthday and commemorate the end of a crazy year for you.  You’re welcome to make this a cake smash / tub splash photo shoot if you’d like to.   Parents and siblings are welcome to join in at the sessions if you’d like to or you can keep it entirely baby focused, the choice is yours.

After Each Session

Now this is where, if I was a ‘normal’ portrait studio, you would read all about how I ask you back to view your images and treat you to a sales session along with your cup of coffee.  I don’t like this approach as I feel it is too much pressure in terms of making decisions about your images so you simply receive an access code when your images are ready so you can view them in your private online gallery.   You can order whatever you’d like to directly from here either as digital images or in print / canvas form or I’m happy to help with framing options if you’d like me to.  Here’s a link to the print and digital pricing – no secrets and no surprises here.

The Frame

At the end of the year, after your final session, you will see all of your images again online to allow you to pick your favourite from each session for your triple aperture wall frame.  It’s a black frame with a white mount with your images usually displayed at 6×4″ – there’s a few upgrade options to change the size, shape or amount of images you include but you’ll get all that information at the time.
