This is Felicity and I have to admit to a particular fondness for her having got to know her mum and dad quite well over the years since I was their wedding photographer.
So it’s always a pleasure to see them and of course to see this little lady growing up – unfortunately Felicity didn’t see fit to reward this happy occasion with too many smiles preferring instead to frown at me like I was a mad lady! Of course she does look totally gorgeous when she is serious so it doesn’t matter in the slightest.
She’s only four months old so in truth it isn’t unusual for a little one that young to not smile on cue for photos and those serious little looks are just as adorable. She might have had a point about the frowning – my hair was particularly unruly that day and I’d frowned at it quite a lot myself. The smiles were all the sweeter when we did get them!
