Baby Photographing with a Pro!

Roman was quite the charmer when he came to visit the studio for his first baby photography club photo shoot aged about four months old.

He had lots to say and smile about and he was particularly fond of my blue tail hat (which his parents requested to tie it in with a hat that he wore at his newborn photo shoot).  He was very keen to show it to me and frankly posed like an absolute pro throughout his session.  The blue backdrop does bring out his eyes that’s for sure but actually they really don’t need any help – they are quite incredible.

We had a few changes of outfit which he tolerated really well and also some different backdrops and poses that we worked through to create a gorgeous set of images to remind his parents of what he was like at that age.  Obviously he’s still pretty limited in terms of posing at four months old but we worked with my specially designed supporting beanbag so he could sit up and also tried out some tummy time and some poses on his back so we could create a good deal of variety.  I recommend waiting until your baby is strong enough to lift their head whilst they’re on their tummy (even if it’s just for a few minutes) so you get the maximum value from your first Joey Club photo shoot.
