Baby Leah and her Photo Shoot

I first met little Leah when she was just a few days old when I went to her mum and dad’s house to take her newborn photos. She took a while to fall asleep (she was a hungry little bunny that day) but after that, she was a perfect little model.  Since then, 8 months have passed and lots has changed about her but she’s still the perfect little model that’s for sure.

Now she is very happy little girl, sitting steadily by herself and more than happy to smile and pose for her pictures.  Her mum brought along some very sweet little outfits for her to wear and also the best pair of bunny ears that I’ve had in the studio (such things genuinely make me very happy!) as it was nearly the Easter weekend.

We had a very sweet little vintage style photo shoot, teaming up the bunny ears with the cutest little easter yellow dress that her mum had brought along and then ‘going full bunny’ by adding in my bunny nappy cover which also features a pom pom cotton tail and my set of felt carrots. In case you were wondering, ‘going full bunny’ is a real phrase.  Well, maybe it wasn’t but it is now!

We also made use of some of my other accessories such as the navy blue pettiskirt which sounds like an odd colour to put a baby in but it actually shoots really beautifully, especially when teamed with the gentle blue of my vintage door backdrop and the stunning blue of Leah’s eyes!

Another joint effort in styling a photo shoot between us to make a gorgeous set of finished images but also keep them personal to Leah and her family.
